How to reach the Libby Police Department

The LIBBY POLICE DEPARTMENT contracts for dispatch services with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office. Citizens of Libby in need of non-emergency police service must call 293-4112. This is the number to the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office dispatcher. You will be connected to a recorded telephone menu. To speak with the dispatcher dial 0 (zero) after connecting with the recording. The dispatcher will take your pertinent information such as name, address, phone number, and the nature of your complaint. Please give this information to the dispatcher! Officers, for reasons of safety, will not respond to complaints from anonymous callers. If the complainant will not give their name, their is no complaint! To contact the LIBBY POLICE DEPARTMENT for reasons other than criminal complaints, citizens may call our office number at 293-3343 or stop by our office at 603 Mineral Avenue. If no one is in the office to answer your call, please leave a message and someone will return your call as soon as possible. Citizens may also communicate with the department by E-mail at libbypd@frontiernet.net



LPD PATCH REQUESTS:Due to security reasons the Libby Police Department patch can no longer be obtained by mail. Department patches may be obtained directly from the Chief of Police on a case by case basis.
